"I wanted to thank you for the brilliant workshop yesterday afternoon. So much to think about - as is probably quite usual, I was surprised by what came up. I was impressed by your gentle guidance and how we all felt safe to share so much.  As well as now having lots of useful stuff to explore (both artistically and in wider life), one of my inner critic voices was also soothed and validated by the creative process of the day. I often feel disheartened by the feeling that I don't have a deep imagination but when I am allowed, even forced to, come up with imaginative ideas, as we were yesterday, I am so often really excited by what I do have "in there". One of the reasons I want to do art (very new to me) and writing is to reach in and discover some of the depths of what is there that I feel I haven't explored as much as I'd have liked in the past.. It can be thrilling to experience that discovery, can't it?
I will definitely come to more sessions with you”  - Debbie

"I loved your class. I love your teaching style, so utterly competent yet
non threatening.  Really helped allay my huge fears. I think you are very skilled at creating and leading a supportive safe group"

"I think you've really helped me to feel freer, far less precious or concerned with the outcome.  It's been great to just dive in, become completely absorbed, then have the fun and excitement of seeing what ended up on my paper. I've been quite surprised that I've liked a lot of what I've produced, and seen it all as experiments, play and exploration rather than failures or disasters, which is how I would have looked at my scribblings once upon a time! I've really enjoyed the way you teach, your approach and the subject matter you choose"

"Thank you Colette for an absolutely lovely class. The pace was perfect. I learnt such a lot in two hours! It was so good to see my mother relax and we were were laughing together which was probably the first time since the beginning of lockdown. I know she loved it and I know what my next present will be to her. Another class!! We giggled all the way home!!"
