Writing Retreats for individuals A personal retreat offers a beautiful and peaceful artists house in which to write and contemplate, A place away from everyday distractions and your normal routine. You'll have exclusive use of the study lounge with a beautiful writing desk and wood burning stove. Arriving Friday evening and departing Monday morning means you have 2 full days to immerse yourselves in the creative process
3 nights accommodation with single room, shared bathroom and dining room, bath with a view. All food is provided, including home-cooked vegetarian (or vegan) evening meals. Access to hot drinks when ever you want. All offered to give you all the time and space you need for your personal practice. As a personal retreatant you shape your own time to suit you, with meal times being planned on your arrival
Bolehills park is just a few streets away and from there you can walk out into the countryside of the Rivelin Valley, and through the valley into the Peak District if you wish.
Arriving on the Friday evening from 6pm for homemade soup and bread, 3 nights accommodation, departing Monday morning by 10am

Facilities - single bedroom, study lounge for you exclusively, towels, hots baths, wi-fi, shared bathroom and dining room, and access to small garden which is private and not over-looked, all meals, and access to hot drinks at any time throughout your stay
Food - Fully catered tasty meals includes; muesli or porridge and fruit for breakfast, sandwiches and salad for lunch, home-cooked vegetarian evening meals, Food allergies catered for. Real coffee and tea and biscuits through out the day
Arrival and departure times - arrive after 6pm on Friday, depart by 10am on Monday (a mid week timetable may be available)
Travel details - trains to Sheffield station, from there take the bus - 95 to Commonside, or 52 to Crookes high street, 5 - 8 min walk to house, or a taxi costs about £8 from the station
The local area - 8 mins walk to local shops, cafes, restaurants, and the Bolehills park, which takes you out to the Rivelin Valley and the Peak District beyond that. The centre of town is 30 walk or a bus ride away with galleries etc
Accessibility - the bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor. The stairs are steep by modern standards
